CVLIFE Optics Hunting Rifle Scope 6-24 x50 AOE Review

The CVLIFE Optics Hunting Rifle Scope: An economic package deal for target practice

The right scope for your rifle is as essential as the hours you practice on the range. If you have the wrong scope you will leave frustrated and annoyed instead of satisfied with a good day hunting or shooting targets. In this review we take a look at the CVLIFE optics hunting rifle scope.

We go through its features and tell you more about its pros and cons. After going through this review you will have a good idea about the qualities this scope offers and if it will be suitable for your needs, whether you are a serious hunter or a hobbyist.

The CVLIFE Optics Hunting Rifle Scope 6-24 x50 AOE Red and green illuminated crosshair gun scopes with free Mounts is made from aluminum alloy like most of its counterparts. It is completely sealed and the interior is nitrogen filled to ensure that it is fog and rain proof, so you can focus on your shooting even if the rain is pouring.

It has an adjustable dual illuminated reticle for use in low light conditions or at night. It has fully coated multi-optics and the ocular is constructed with dioptric adjustment lenses.

The exterior lens is also scratch resistant (which is good news if you want to keep your scope in good working order for a long time). Take a look at the features, pros and cons and our verdict:

  • It is well designed for stationary target shooting
  • It holds its zero well even low calibre recoil and has a range finder reticle
  • The variable colours and brightness work well in low light conditions
  • It has good clear optics

Cons

  • The zoom and focus can take time to adjust and may easily become blurry
  • A high calibre weapon will knock the zero off after a few rounds
  • It does not come with an instruction manual
  • It will not work well where speed is a requirement, such as game hunting or competition shooting

Summary

This is a relatively inexpensive scope and it outperforms many other scopes in this price range. It is easy to mount and it performs well up to ranges of 600 yards (548m). It has a range finder reticle but does not come with an instruction manual so you will need some experience to be able to adjust it.

It is a good target shooting scope with hand adjustable turrets. It has very good clarity for a scope in this price range. The variable colours and brightness options work well in different light conditions.

It is a good stationary scope but will give you some trouble when you need to acquire fast moving targets. It might not be a problem if you are a good shot, but for an entry level enthusiast it will be better suited to the range.

Comparison

This scope is good quality for its price and has a stronger magnification than other scopes in this range. It performs well up to 600 yards (548m), which is further than other scopes in this price bracket.

It is sturdy and well-built and is easy to mount. It will work well for multiple uses not just long range shooting, but long ranges are its strong point.

The zoom and focus are not intuitive and easy to adjust, but if you are familiar with different scopes finding the right focus for the zoom distance will not present a problem to you.  It has a range finder reticle but it is difficult to calibrate without a user manual.

It holds its zero well with lower caliber weapons, but with high caliber rifles (higher than a .223 for example) it can lose the zero after a few rounds.

Verdict

CVLIFE Optics Hunting Rifle Scope 6-24 x50 AOE Red and green illuminated crosshair gun scopes with free Mounts is a good value for money scope for long range shooting for entry level hunters. This is a good learner scope or for someone who shoots occasionally.

If you are a serious or professional hunter a scope in a higher price and quality range would be more suitable. Especially if you are going to subject it to a lot of high calibre use.

However, if you are good experienced shot, you will be able to adjust and use this scope easily. The scope and the gun are only as good as the person using it and your own ability will add to the value of the scope.
